Introducing: the book we will be reading during March and April is ‘The Image of the City’ by Kevin Lynch!
This is a book I have made reference to multiple times in my architectural education and I always find it useful to revisit it. Published in 1960, it has become a classic and highly influential book on the study of urban environments and city planning. In ‘The Image of the City’, Lynch explores concepts like imageability, legibility and identity as ways people understand and map their city surroundings.
