As book availability in Mar/April 2021 is still challenging many places in the world - we're adding the other two books from the poll as alternative reads.

This thread is for discussions of our Mar/Apr 2020 read of The Curious Case of Dassoukine’s Trousers, by Fouad Laroui - with NO SPOILERS (there is a thread with spoilers allowed too) - so feel free to discuss book editions, availability, expectations etc. - when you get into the book, please join us in the spoiler thread!

Carolien (carolien_s) | 524 comments Just realised this looks like a collection of short stories. I still need to read something for that Bingo square, so this may well end up in the pile for the next month.

Orgeluse | 481 comments I am overwhelmed 😊! So many options! I have The Curious Case of Dassoukine’s Trousers on my shelves and of course also Dreams of Maryam Tair: Blue Boots and Orange Blossoms! I am looking forward to exchanging thoughts with you during the next two months!!
It says that the stories are interlinked in The Curious Case of Dassoukine’s Trousers, so we will see how this turns out:)).

I am reading this book in its original version in French: L'étrange affaire du pantalon de Dassoukine and enjoying it a lot.
