Monthly Book Recs discussion

So I'm 100% snagging this idea because Translatathon is currently going on and I know i for one need more translated works in my life so i'd like to encourage people this month to share their favorite works in translation. Tangentially, you could also rec books written by authors whose first language isn't English (for example Lost Childrens Archive was written in english but english is not the author's first language and this was their first english-first novel)
