James Conway | 1 comments Good Day,

My name is James N. Conway and I am the author of the recently published espionage thriller Cross-Border. And that’s what Cross-Border is about:

“A bloody attack. A missing rocket. A looming threat. And as all is connected to smuggling over the Afghan-Tajik border, Romanov, a Russian expert on smuggling, is thrown into the midst of it.”

For more details see a full blurb here: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/5...

What sets Cross-Border apart from most other espionage thrillers is that the main protagonists are not Western, but Russian, Afghan, and Tajik. Furthermore, the fact that I have been living in Afghanistan since several years and visited almost all described places lends Cross-Border a verisimilitude not often found in other books. This also includes the characters in the book that are partly inspired by the real insurgents, smugglers, soldiers, and diplomats that I have met during all my years venturing across Afghanistan.

Cross-Border is available as paperback (13.99 U.S.$) and e-book (2.99 U.S.$ or free with KindleUnlimited) on Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/Cross-Border-J...).

I hope you enjoy and will give away free copies to the first 10 people that pass me a private message with the reference “Espionage Aficionados”.

Cheers,

James
