She first died by being burned at the stake. As the story goes on you learn she isnt a witch but actually half fae and half.. god? And that her best friend was half dragon half angel. She marries a demon.
Her adoptive mother is a witch her adoptive father is a demon she at first believes she was a mix of the two. There is a council she helps out and she goes to faerie to find the baby of the woman her best friend fell for who died and in the end learns that lucifer is her brother but also her adoptive grandmothers dad maybe? And the goddess in the tree takes lucifer as a sacrifce..
Theres a lot more details like shes a tattoo artist and her assistant is a vampire who her adoptive grandmother places there and she has to kill her adoptive uncle with a very specific knife her adoptive grandmother formed to kill herself with. Um.. she saves a bunch of dwarves in a mountain with elemental magic using the earth.
She believes herself to be the last elemental fae.
