Im planning my novel out right now and over the summer I’ll draft it :) still working on the character profiles as of now

Ooh that is so cool! I could never be a pantser, I’m totally a plotter. I used to be a pantser but when I actually sat down to try to write a novel, I realized I’m more the type who needs to see the bigger picture first and work out the details in order to effectively weave in the sub-plots and foreshadowing. In the past I would write without planning bit about 30 pages in I’d stop, so my goal is to create a plan so I can follow through.

But yeah there’s no right or wrong, it’s whatever works for you

Yeah, I feel like that would be more effective, but I just try to plot it in my brain as I go along. :)

May I ask, is your novel more about Fantasy or reality???

And my novel is fantasy, but it takes place in a realistic world. There are magic elements that the characters uncover are a part of our world. What about you?

Realistic, it's about a Middle School girl's life when it is forever changed by one word. :)

Umm, it has elements of ships, ummm, elements of friendship, knowing who you are, and shade. :)

I have similar elements, a bit of overcoming anxiety, some solid ships (that I’m really excited for), learning to get over disagreements, and a strong theme on not hiding your inner monsters

Here's one that I found that I can't figure out how to write: The cracks in the sidewalk, valleys, and ditches are from broken hearts. Write how the Grand Canyon came to be.

Those are SO COOL thank you!!! And the moon one reminds me of a story I wrote for LA once. It was honestly a terrible story, but it was 27 minute reading time (my poor teacher) and she read the whole thing and gave me like three paragraphs of feedback 😳

Also Harvest, congratulations on 30 pages!!! That’s a big accomplishment, and I usually don’t get much farther than that. Also for your plot line, can you explain a little more about your story and I can give you some advice
