What if Anna and Elsa never knew each other?

When a magical accident erases Anna and Elsa's memories not only of magic, but of each other the sisters are separated for protection. But when Elsa unexpectedly finds herself as a young queen mysterious magic begins to happen and questions of her past start to form. Will the sisters ever be reunited?

Looking forward to this retelling!

Starting this one early. Nervous for this one, since Calonita's other Twisted Tales have only been 2 star reads for me

Chapter 3
(view spoiler)[ Interesting set up so far. I was curious as to how this was going to play out since Anna and Elsa's sisterhood is so important to the original story. Turns out they're still sisters even though they're strangers, so that's good (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 4
(view spoiler)[ And we already have movie scenes written into the book. I was hoping with the premise of this one that that wouldn't be the case, especially so soon, but I've gotten used to the feelings of disappointment this series brings me (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 7
(view spoiler)[ Anna's guardians aren't doing her any favors by not telling her the truth. Poor girl doesn't even know who she's really grieving (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 10
(view spoiler)[ Ugh Hans. I've never hated a Disney character more than him.

I don't think I'm a huge fan of him trying to get together with Elsa, but it makes sense since Anna isn'y royalty here. I'm glad Elsa isn't really falling for it so far (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 17
(view spoiler)[ I'm really enjoying Anna's chapters. It seems that Elsa's chapters have gone on to resemble to movie. I hope Anna's chapters don't start doing the same thing now that she's teamed up with Kristoff (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[ Ugh I wish Anna wasn't being so naive. It was one thing in the movie when she was doing the princess thing and didn't know any better. But the way she was raised here, and the fact that she's known Kristoff for a little bit, I would have thought she wouldn't fall for his act. (hide spoiler)]

It's just kind of exhausting to read the copy and paste dialogue at this point. I think this was the 6th one I read this month or something like that. A couple other books were able to work without using so many movie scenes, so it annoys me now more than it did when I first started the series

I did think it would deviate a bit more than it did. It was basically like reading the movie script lol. I gave it 3 stars
