Netgalley is a website where you can read free ARCs. In exchange for the ARC, you agree to read and review within a set amount of time (you get to choose). You then must post your review somewhere, like Amazon or Goodreads.

In case you want/need it, here is Netgalley's website: https://www.netgalley.com/

What are your opinions on Netgalley? Is it worth my time? Or is it just a waste of time?

Have you heard (from others, grapevine, etc.) anything about Netgalley? Or do you just not know much about it?

Do you know of any other similar websites? Do you recommend them?

Shawna Finnigan (sugoishawn) | 360 comments NetGalley is really worth it. I've reviewed a lot of arcs on NetGalley. The more followers you have and the more reviews you write, the more chance you have of being approved for more popular arcs. You'll be able to get a lot of under hyped arcs when you're first starting out and I got some awesome ones before I'd even left my first review. I've found so many new favorite books because of netgalley.

I've tried Eidelweiss, too, but there site isn't as user friendly. It was really hard to navigate and there wasn't as many books that I was interested in on there

That's interesting (about Edelweiss).

I'll have to see about signing up for NetGalley. . . . Who doesn't like free books?

Darby Both Edelweiss and NetGalley are amazing sites! I've had more luck recieving ARCs from Edelweiss but the both are equally great, in my opinion. If you do decide to join, you'll receive more accepted requests for ARCs/DRCs if you have an additional platform such as a website or blog (which I do). Definitely worth the time, if you choose books to request that interest you!
