Yey! So excited! Full disclosure.... this is a reread for me. I read it in the mid 90s. So it’s been a while. My intention is to read Twenty Years After when I’m done.
Excited for this one! It's been on my bookshelf collecting dust for at least 10 years! lol Now I can tackle it. TY for the opportunity. Looking forward to the discussion :)

How’s everyone going? I’m just finishing chapter 10 and I feel I have been very slow. First impressions are that it is vastly different to my brother’s classic comic I read as a child! 😁I am also a little surprised at the role of d’Artagnan. Anyway no spoilers until we all comment?
I haven't started lol I feel bad, but I keep getting distracted. I'll give it a good try this weekend.

Me either. When I’m reading it’s really good but a couple of times found it easier to leave. Terrible I am☺️
I am into chapter 4 now. I was shocked by how the book was so different than what I expected the first time I read it. And d’Artagnan? (view spoiler) just my opinion
Starting chapter 8 this morning. Where is everyone else at?
Chapter 24, combination of listening and reading. Are you enjoying it so far?
I’m into chapter 12 now. I am listening and reading at the same time. I am enjoying it.
I am into chapter 25 this morning. This is going much faster than I thought it would.
I am into chapter 43 now. When I’m reading I am totally picture Tim Curry as the Cardinal. I just can’t help it. Lol
Maybe I should picture Tim Curry too. For some reason I am not having fun with this. I find them ever so slightly annoying. I’m at chapter 34 and something seems to be happening. Will press on!
I started this yesterday and I'm honestly not as familiar with this story as I was with the Count of Monte Cristo. But it's mostly fun, but I need to look up some of the characters to remember who they are. Now that you have that picture in my head, Roseanne, I'm going to picture Tim Curry every time I hear the Cardinal, ha ha ha!
I listened to D'Artagnan's conversation with the Cardinal this morning and I kept picturing Tim Curry and it totally cracked me up.
Okay, no one ever told me this was a tragedy! Whyyyyyyyyyy!
Opps. I forgot that part. It’s been a long time since I read it.
Finished last night. When I got to the end I just couldn’t put it down.
Great! I’m in chapter 44 and it’s really picking up for me. I remember the city of San Rochelle very well so the action there is vivid.
Roseanne, I was the same! Once I hit close the end, I just kept going until I finished it!
Has everyone else now finished the book? I am still at chapter 50 but getting to the stage where I might binge to the end. This last week has been difficult, only because of due library books and life generally getting in the way of my usual schedule. It is certainly picking up for me and am loving it.
Chapter 50 is about the same point where I started reading faster.
I finished yesterday and as Roseanne and Eileen said I got to the stage where I could not put it down. very exciting but also rather sad. So pleased I have now read it. Thanks you all for reading along!
