I had signed up for a buddy read for this and completely forgot it was this month's BOTM, perfect! I'm loving it so far. The characters are great, the world-building is great, and I love how raw and real it is. I'm about 40% of the way in as of right now. How are you all liking it?

I'm hoping to finish today, though it's unlikely - what do you all think so far?

Palash (naikon) | 5 comments I completed the trilogy earlier in January. Its a fantastic series.
I really liked plot, world building, main characters and overall theme. Being inspired from real history makes it so much better.

The thing I liked most about this book is the heavy focus that author has put on ramifications of warfare and its aftermath on common population(more so in second and especially third book.). Author has done brilliant job in portraying the unforgiving nature of warfare. I will recommend you all to complete the series. It gets much better with each book.

Anushka Sierra (princessesierra) Just finished my review of this book and... It's an amazing book, and so unexpectedly harsh and unforgiving. I love that Rin is such an anti-hero. I love how flawed she is. She has never heard of emotional regulation, but if she did, she'd probably nuke it. 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
