Notes/Feedback:
Overall this was an easy to read book. It is a simple concept and a reminder that sometimes, as leaders, we need to acknowledge that the only way to move forward is to unlearn some of our current skills, habits and paradigms. Even if those very things got you success to this point, it might not be what is needed to go to the next level. Barry outlines a basic framework of unlearning, relearning and then breaking through. Besides the 3 step framework, Barry also preaches thinking big but starting and validating small. Overall, what is discussed in this book might seem like an obvious thing but for those in leadership positions that might be feeling stagnant with their progress/influence this might be a good read to get your started.

Recommendation:
The book is worth reading if you are feeling stuck in a professional environment. I would recommend his first book Lean Enterprise: How High Performance Organizations Innovate at Scale first before reading this one. The first book has a lot more substance.
