I loved this series!
My favorite character would be Helene Aquilla.
I really enjoyed all the action scenes and I found the magic very creative.
My least favorite character was probably Elias when he (view spoiler)[became the Soul Catcher. (hide spoiler)] He then became very boring.

I haven't read the last book yet but I did like this series. I would say the series went a bit downhill after the first book. The first book was the best for me. My favorite character will also be Helene. And a particular thing which comes to my mind when I look back to the series is Keris Veturia. She was a terrifying antagonist. She gave me nightmares and I was so scared for Elias and Lia. I was planning to re read the 3 books so that I can read the final .

Aaaah, I agree! The first two were my overall favorite. The third one was a bit boring, but I really enjoyed the last one too.

My god Keris Venturia also scared the heck out of me lol.

Anytime I read a crazy villain I am reminded of Keris. She was soooo scary.

The only thing I liked about the third is addition of Harper. I am lookimg forward to read about him in the last book.

Yes, Harper was a good addition, you should read the 4th book! It broke my heart. ;-;

I am kind of spoiled for what happens in the 4th book and it already broke my heart just knowing that. Probably that's the reason I am putting off reading it for so long. I am not sure I am in the right mind to put myself through that pain.

Oh no! I hate spoilers so much. :/ I still think you should read it, but I understand if you don't. :)
