When Sebastian interviews Pym’s daughter, he learns she was estranged from her father and has noticed she’s being watched. What did you make of this at the time?

I thought she was next on the list to die. I worried for her and her children. I love that Sebastian stepped in to find men to guard her.

I worried, too, but could not figure out why she was a target.

Me either. I kept waiting for there to be a stronger connection to why she was being watched.

One thing was for certain, she confirmed Pym was a vile man.

He was a good man and as I think women, even during that time, were aware of more than they were given credit. I think she knew exactly what kind of man her father was. I thought she was being watched as a threat to her father or to see how much she knew.
