I read an advanced copy of this and wrote a review, but I’m doing a re-read now (well, listening to it—I always like the audiobook more!) to see if there were any changes. Overall, this is very much in the same vein as “furiously happy,” however I would probably still call this the more depressive book to that one’s mania.

Let’s Pretend was hands down the funniest thing I have ever read in my life.
I jumped into Furiously Happy expecting something similar. It was not.
I’m certain that both Broken and Furiously Happy are wonderfully inspiring and hopeful for anyone suffering as Jenny does and I applaud and salute her for her brutal honestly and being a beacon for those folks.
So, the last two were not as entertaining to read IMHO, but very worthwhile for different reasons.
Update: Yep, the book reads much better as an audiobook since Jenny is so conversational. Highly recommend.
I love Jenny's books. The chapter about losing her shoes had me laughing so hard I couldn't keep reading. I put off finishing it because I didn't want it to be over.
My friend and I decided the chapter about losing her shoes should have a "pee before reading" notice.
