What are your thoughts on reading the book before watching the movie, and vice versa? Do you think you should always do one first, or, does it matter?

I prefer reading before watching the movies because if I know the entire plot of the book beforehand, what's the point of reading it?

Same, I also prefer reading the book before the movie. Every now and then I will watch the movie first and I always regret doing it wherever I start the book.

I always want to read the book first...because if i watch the movie first i will struggle to pick up the book...but if i read the book first i have no problem watching the movie after....

I don't really mind which order I do it in as long as I read the book eventually

I prefer reading book before watching movie because we all know how a large part of story is lost when a book is converted into a movie.
