Finally finished with Gone with the Wind from Week 2, so catching up by reading week 4 and week 5 together!!

What did you think of it? I've had it sitting in my kindle for a year, and think I was a little scared of it. This was good motivation and I found it read more easily than I'd expected. Enjoyed is probably the wrong word, but it was a really interesting and well written look at life as a slave.
I liked it. I had the same feelings you did about it and then once I started reading it I enjoyed it. I thought it seemed pretty accurate too. It showed the good the bad and the ugly of a time period that is extremely controversial.
