Freso :watermelon: (freso) | 126 comments I’ve checked out a copy of Big Data: A Very Short Introduction from my local library, and the last numbered page is 125, followed by 7 unnumbered pages. Page 1 is preceded by 20 unnumbered and Roman numbered pages. Not sure how the current 144 page count was arrived at.

Additional reference:
* Local library entry
* WorldCat

With what contents?

Freso :watermelon: (freso) | 126 comments Uh... Does it matter? Uni library and WorldCat entries both agree on the 125 pp count. Anyway, I think they were just ads for other AVSI entries. Don't have the book handy now.

Since we would count some things and not others, yes.

Freso :watermelon: (freso) | 126 comments Well, I am sad that you’d rather have clearly wrong information (144 pp is wrong by any measure), than the information I gave. P. 125 was the final page of the index at the end, I don’t remember anything other than ads after 125 (as I already mentioned). If that, combined with the library information, is not enough to convince you that 125 is the correct number, then so be it. 🤷

I’m sorry I included too much information in my original post for this to be acted on. :\

We are not saying that we would rather have wrong information; we are saying that the content of the unnumbered pages is relevant.
I have changed the page count to 125 per WorldCat.
