I put out a poll asking if you guys would be interested in having contemporary, kpop sub-genre themed book club reads. Please vote on this poll so I can get a feel for what you guys would like to do!

well im in another army group and honestly to get things going here we need more people. seeing as there are only 17 members. I thinks its best if moderators encourage others to invite more people. you can also hold a contest for that whoever adds most members to the hroup becomes a mod of the week. Also we need an update thread which talks about bts and bighit updates...i also think it wud be great to have topics talking abt the hoobaes TXT considering they are the junior group of bighit/hybe entertainment. Also there shud be a seperate mod in charge of updating the groups pictures and adding videos and photos...u guys can look for ideas in my group "Army Headquarters" I am the mod for that group ad its going pretty well. We shud have kpop related book discussions ( I am sooo not saying that because im going to publish akpop book thru amazon *sarcastic voice* (please check out my book when it releases!!!) Anotyer thing u guys can do is update the event thread...say bts is holding a concert in philadelphia or whatever...u can put that in there and members can all see hen bts events are coming up nd we can also know who is attending or what not. we shud alsi have a thread for bts related fanfics where members canwrite there fanfic stories or put links to their wattpad or watever...we shud also have a group blog...someone shud make a blog ad we can all chip in by helping them out..it cud be a group blog abt bts and everyone knows the usernameand pssword for it so we can all update it......hmmm i will let u guys know if i have more ideas

I would like to see Bias by Lucy Gold as the next Kpop read!!! Shine and I'll be the one was released ages ago and most of us have already read it. Bias is a really good debut novel, and it was published 5 months ago. Also XOXO when that comes out!!! I like keeping up with and discussing NEW books. Also, maybe it would be more popular if it what a KPOP group and not a BTS only one. There's already a BTS only group and that may overshadow this one. Persosn!ly, I am a WOODZ, TxT and ATEEZ stan. :-)

I'm not in charge of the book reads because I don't have access to any of the books, so sorry, but I'm sure one of the other moderators would take your suggestion into consideration!! That is a great idea, Lana!! I think I will make this into a K-Pop in general group then if my moderators agree!! I could change the group name to 'Simply K-Pop'! Does anyone know Boy Story? Technically theyre not 100% kpop cuz theyre like a mixed with like a japanese or chinese label too. I dont know much about them, but i do share a birthday with one of the members and hes only a few years older than me

I've heard of them but I haven't listened to them yet. Well, it doesn't really matter if the members are mixed races, it matters what language they mostly sing in, that will determine if they're K-Pop, C-Pop, J-Pop, etc. That's cool! I share a birthday with Wooseok of Pentagon.

Yeah, a lot of K-Pop groups do a few songs in different languages like Japanese or Chinese. BTS actually has a few Japanese albums.

Yeah, Asian languages are so artistic, I love them. I already know some Korean and Chinese and I really want to learn more of them.

I'm so sorry for the excess of BTS in this group, but I guess you guys weren't in this group when it first started out. It wasn't a K-Pop group at first, it was solely just for BTS, so I hope that explains it. But as you can probably see, I have made the effort to create many, many different topics and folders for different groups and idols, etc, not just because I want others to have more variety but because I like all of the idols and topics I create with the other group members.

And I know that you mean the topics for each of the BTS members and the BTS album folder, I made those in the beginning so that the fans and ARMY's then could have more variety and could have more to comment on, I wanted the group to be successful. But now that there are so many idols this group includes, there is enough variety without me having to make those topics. I would want to get rid of those BTS topics, but they have a lot of comments and I wouldn't want to delete all of those. And I also wouldn't want to make topics for each individual idol of other groups because if I do that for one other group, another person will want more variety for their favourites and ask me to make topics for idols in their favourite group. I also just don't think the idea for those topics is good anyway, and people would not often comment on them either.

Lmao, I could be one of those people that releases apology and explanation letters for idols and actors, I just wrote one of those 😂
