Karin | 9205 comments I liked this better than the first two (those were 3 stars each for me).

Atlee is nearing the end of her leave she was given to see if she can find out what happened to her twin, Mercy, who was taken when they were six. She and her assistant, Blum, head to New Jersey to follow a lead, and while trying to speak with someone about it, she accidentally interrupts and foils an arrest that was going to take place by John Puller (apparently he has his own Baldacci series, but this one is the first I've ever read by him). I am not going to rehash the blurb, since it is well done.

Suffice it to say that this novel worked for me, and I am guessing there will be more since once again there is a Mercy cliff hanger. I might even try the John Puller series, but thrillers are not my normal fare, so I am not sure. I am planning to read the next Atlee Pine book, so I hope Baldacci is working on another. He is not accepting new questions here, but then given his popularity that isn't surprising.

Hannah | 3285 comments I really enjoy this series - I hope there is another one soon, as I'm getting impatient to know what happened to Mercy.

Apparently there is a fourth one due out this November. I double checked. Mercy

Thanks for checking this - I’ve just added it to my TBR.
