*Group Updates*

I won't be super active this week because I have state testing as well as my my usual heavy course load this week, so I AM DYINGGG

*BTS Updates*

Sorry if you guys already know about this stuff!

- McDonald's (the fast food chain) is releasing a BTS meal, similar to the Travis Scott and J Balvin meals from last year. It's launching on May 26 if you're in the US, Canada, or Brazil, or May 27th in South Korea. If you don't live in these countries, don't worry! The meal will go on sale soon after in about 50 different countries across six continents. The BTS meal will include 10 chicken nugget, a medium fries, and a Coke. They're also going to release two new dipping sauce flavors, sweet chili and cajun, in honor of the meal. I know McDonald's is super bad for you, but I thought this was interesting! I wonder if they'll have any special packaging. Maybe when you order it'll say "BTS meal" on the receipt, haha.

- BTS is releasing a new single, "Butter" on May 21, 2021 at midnight EST. This was just announced TODAY! I got this info from a Forbes article. This website also says that they are releasing a compilation album, Bts, the Best in June. I think it's going to have a bunch of their Japanese songs!

- BTS are now Louis Vuitton brand ambassadors! Here's a a Billboard article.

Uh oh...i didnt think of that actually. Its probaly berry flavored coke with food coloring. I mean its like a very bright electric purple soooo.......McDonalds is a few minutes away from where I live. Im debating....is the drink worth it?????

Guys, have you seen their Rolling Stone covers?!! I actually have a subscription and was so surprised to see their group cover come in the mail!!!

Yeah, I saw the behind the scenes for all of the members photoshoots when they came out on YouTube!! Their covers are amazing!!! Aaaah, lucky to get the Rolling Stone then!!

Yeah, when Hobi started the Stephen Colbert skit thing with those ridiculous hand gestures, I was dying of laughter already!! Yeeeeesss, their performances of 'Butter' are phenomenal, they're always different!!!!

~ We are having a comeback on July 9th supposedly and I am so excited!!! Put your thoughts on this upcoming supposed comeback so soon after 'BE' below!!!! Here are some new updates if you've been living under a rock lol!

~ 'Permission To Dance' BTS's new single is going to be released on July 9th, 13:00 KST, and 00:00 EST, aka 12:00 am EST for those who didn't know until 'Butter' came out, including me. ")

~ 'Permission To Dance' is also going to be on the 'Butter' CD that is set to be released on July 9th. There is a poster that is included with the CD, photobook, etc, but it is only available for those who preorder, so make sure to preorder the CD, or else you won't be able to have a wonderful new poster of BTS! ~ The Teaser came out yesterday so be sure to watch it! It has many hidden things and clues so look out for them!

~ I don't think anyone knows if it is an all-English song or if it's Korean with a few English words thrown in, but it's going to be an extreme bop no matter what! So I guess we'll have to find out when it comes out on July 9th!

~ 'Butter' was number one for 9 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100, but is now replaced by 'Stay', Justin Bieber and The Kid Laroi this week *BS in my opinion*

~ 'Permission To Dance' is number 27 on the Billboard Hot 100 currently, last week it was number 9. This is absolutely the biggest disrespect for a great song I have ever witnessed, why is 'Permission To Dance' not that popular? I know why, but I just hate that it isn't popular.

~ I forgot to update this too, but 'Fake Love' hit 1 Billion on YouTube a few days ago!!!! And 'Idol' hit 1 Billion yesterday!!!!!!! Must have been a good birthday present for Namjoon, and I hope BTS win's some awards at the VMA's this year so Namjoon will have awards for his birthday!!

~ Lisa came out with her first solo song 'Lalisa' and also 'Money', they're both so cool! She also performed 'Lalisa' on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and came out with a performance video for it!

~ And Blackpink is now the most subscribed musical artists on YouTube surpassing Justin Bieber!

~ Jin is coming out with a new solo song for a Korean drama I think. And it's coming out November 7th, 5 am Eastern Standard Time (Why so earlyyyyy, I need to wake up at that time) and 6 pm Korean Standard Time.

Other update that is also very exciting:

~ The Boyz came out with their song called 'Maverick' and that song officially made me a fan. Hello, The Boyz, you have a new fan in your fandom.

~ BTS went to a Harry Styles concert along with Lizzo in LA.

~ BTS were also nominated for three AMA (American Music Awards) awards, 'Artist Of The Year', 'Favourite Pop Duo/Group', 'Favourite Pop Song', and they won all three!! And they performed 'My Universe' with Coldplay and 'Butter' both for the first time ever live and in person at the AMA's!

~ BTS was on the Late Late Show With James Corden last night, and will be again tonight! I will provide the links to the ones released last night. Tonight, they're gonna release a Crosswalk Concert with James Corden.
