|The Academy of Featherdown Moors RP| discussion

A long dirt path leading up to the school from Featherdown Moors. It's surrounded by the forest, with a few benches here and there to sit and relax.

Nash walked out onto the path and sat down on a bench. He was hoping no one was there.

DUN DUN DUNNNN ))

Charlotte came barreling down the path, the tall female sprinting like something was chasing her. There was nothing behind her of course but she was just excited to start school here. She nearly hit Nash with her wings as she ran, though her feet made no noise. Charlotte didn't even see him, she just kept going and quickly disappeared around a bend.

Nash tried to ignore her and continued to read his book.

Nash got up and left.

Aurelia was seated in one of the benches, watching the sky. She had a pair of cheap-looking earbuds plugged into an old iPod with a cracked screen. It had been a gift from the academy representative that had brought her here. Music was blasting through the earbuds, not quite loud enough for someone else to understand the lyrics, but definitely loud.

Lyra smiled and drifted closer to James. She sighed looking at the scenery and took a deep breath, it smelled wonderful. The small breeze lifted and swayed the strands that stuck behind her ears.

Lyra blushed every time Jame's wings brushed her own. "It's amazing," She said. She walked a little faster to get a running start and then flapped her wings and took off in the air. SHe tirled and spun in the air. SHe laughed and continued twirling.

She looked down at James and frowned, she fluttered her wings and her feet gently hit the ground, "Sorry, I forgot about your wing," She said looking at the ground. She hoped she hadn't upseted him.

Lyra looked up to see him staring at her, she looked at his lips and then back to his eyes. She nodded and walked with him.

Lyra bit her lip blushing. SHe continued walking and then turned around in a hurry, "Come on!" SHe hollared with a smile.

Lyra smiled and the breeze picked up. She drifted closer to James, because of the cold, not the fact she wanted to be closer. Actually, it was more the latter. Her cheeks became a rosy pink.

Lyra shivered, "Its getting cold," She said hugged herself and rubbing her hands on her arms. "How in the world does it go from nice to cold?" She asked.

Lyra blushed bright red, "Thanks James," She said with a smile. She pulled it over her wings and head. "Are you sure you wont freeze? Tell me if you start to get cold, I don't want you to get hyperthermia," She said, with a huff of breath that was visible.

Lyra smiled. How in the world would she be able to tell James that she liked him? Thoughts raced in her mind. She walked puzzled. Looking up a few times and looked at Jame's eyes and lips then looked back down at the ground.

After a bit Lyra realized she hadn't even put the shirt on right, she laughed and fixed it, pulling her wings through the holes.

//yeah i feel like it too...ugh is it just me or does it feel like Lyra and James are kinda controlling how this happens instead of us? i probably am crazy XD//

Lyra looked over to James, he looked tired. His wings drooped onto the ground. "Hey, there's a bench over there, we can take a minute. Come on," She said, taking James' hand and walked quickly over to the bench.

Lyra sat next to him, "You ok? We can go back if you want. I don't want you to get stress fractures because we went on a walk," She said. Lyra sat on her hands and blew out puffs of air. She smiled.

//i dont think ya finished cause it cut out, don't know if ya want me to respond??//

Lyra nodded and gave him her hands. They were cold to the touch, but Lyra had gotten used to the cold a long time ago. She blushed, but it wasn't obvious as her cheeks were already a bright red.

Lyra noticed that James was trying not to look at her. A voice inside her head decided to speak up:

Huh? I guess her doesn't like you then the voice said in her head, laughing.

More things were being said but Lyra blocked them out, she stared at James, but then looked to the scenery.

Lyra watched James from the corner of her eye. She was looking at the ground as James still held her hands, his touch was delicate, like he almost didn't want to break her.

Lyra sighed quietly, how in the world would she tell him? How could she tell him? What would be his answer? Thoughts crammed into Lyra's head, deciding what to do.

Lyra nodded, "Yeah..um, thanks," She said, blushing.

Lyra felt his wing brush her back, she smiled and blushed looking down at her hands that were folded neatly in her lap. Her wings shivered.

Lyra looked up at James, her face was bright red. Her cheeks and ears felt hot. She smiled up at him.

Lyra leaned into James when he placed his arm over her shoulder. She blushed and sighed, breathing in James's warm scent.

Lyra smiled and laughed, "Thankyou," She said. Since her wings were like barn owls they were going to be short, but she didn't want to explain any of that. She just wanted to sit like this with James forever.

Lyra smiled and was practically laying on top of James, but since her figure was so small, it looked more like he was laying on her. She laughed at the thought and wrapped her arms around James' back and chest, but she did it gently hoping he wouldn't mind.

Lyra sighed again. Her smile widened, her face, all of it was a bright red. "I like you," She whispered under her breath.

Lyra looked up at him, "Really?" She asked.

Lyra smiled and blushed, she hugged him a little tighter, so she would be closer to him. Her face was red and hot. James' hand sent shivers down her spine of excitement.

Lyra heard him wince, and let go a bit, her hands dropping to her sides. "Sorry," She said, looking up into James' eyes.

Lyra looked from his lips to his eyes. Yeah, they had known each other for only a day, but it felt so right. She told herself that it was right. It had to be, she just didn't want to ruin something, like this.

Lyra stopped looking at his lips and looked into his green eyes. She was amazed at how green they were. SHe wanted to say something, but she didn't know what to say. There was really only one thing she would say though.

Lyra stared into his eyes, she acted not knowing what she was doing. SHe leaned into him and pressed her lips against his.

Lyra turned so that she was facing him instead of her side. She let James hold her. It had felt different from what the other guy had done. It felt good, and it felt right.

Lyra pulled away. She bit her lip and blushed scarlet. She watched James with a smile on her face. She had enjoyed it, she really hoped he had too.

Lyra took his hand, "Sure," She said, still in shock of what had happened. It wasn't a terrifying shock, it was just that she didn't realize that she had it in herself.

Lyra followed him looking at the ground. A smile on her face.

She shook her head, "Anything you want to do? We could talk, I don't know much about you yet," She said, leaning into him on his good side.

"Its fine, Im a good listener," She said smiling.

"Yours if you wouldn't mind," She said smiling. Her wings trailed on the ground.

"I'd love too," She said, "Everything ok?" She asked. She hoped she hadnt made a mistake by kissing him.
