Books for Change discussion

We are having two BOTMs in May since we have a tie between two great books! This discussion thread is for The Astonishing Color of After. Discuss the book here!

If you wish to be the discussion leader for this book, please give your names below. Everyone who signs up as the discussion leader will get a period of time during which they will be the leader, and once that is over, the next person will be the leader.

I will probably read this book, although I'm not 100% certain - I'll definitely be posting questions I have and keeping it active if I read it, though.

What do you all think of the book?

I've finished this book today. The topic is very important to be discussed, and I think the author wrote well, without romanticizing and with all possible care.
Sometimes I got a little lost (I have a love and hate relationship with too much detail), but overall I found it an excellent read.
