Today is known as Cinco de Mayo. Without looking it up, do you know why it's celebrated and where it's celebrated?

On that note, have you read any books about why certain holidays are celebrated or certain traditions are followed?

Cinco de Mayo is Mexico's Independence Day, if I'm not mistaken.

I don't usually read books about topics like that, if I want to know something about holidays or the like I Google it. I love Google.
