aspiring authors discussion

as requested by @Brooke here's a topic where we can discuss books that start and end with the same sentences or start and end with the same event!

I don't actually know any books that do this, but if anyone has one they made up and they'd like to share, feel free. Here's mine

"You'll never get away with this." Her mother smiled down at her, while she hid the cookie jar behind her back.
"I beg to differ," she said. Her mouth was already stuffed.

"You'll never get away with this," her mother said, from where she stood in chains before her throne. She walked up to her and whispered in her ear, "I beg to differ," before shoving her knife between her mother's ribs.

OH MY GOODNESS BROOKE YOU GAVE ME THE SHIVERS!!!!!!! but seriously how did you come up with that?? well done!
