Spooky season is upon us and we're celebrating with Neil Gaiman's unsettling The Ocean at the End of the Lane .

(Again, Camden County Library patrons can place a hold in Evergreen, on Overdrive, or pick up a copy at the front desk of the Osage Beach Library.)

Amber Maples | 31 comments This book wasn't what I expected, but it was very beautiful. I like the idea that there are things that happen in our lives that we can't explain and they don't need an explanation. Our memories are malleable and no two people will have the same point of view when they are remembering something. I didn't think it was spooky like some of his other works, for example Coraline or the Wolves in the Walls. I just thought it was a really great tale.
