What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

Vague details which I might remember incorrectly. It's 2 or 3 boys with 1 girl. There was no moving water under the ship so the children wondered how the ship got into the mansion in the first place when they first discovered the ship.

This sounds to me like The Voyage of the Dawn Treader by C S Lewis

Update: I met up with my friend who borrowed me the book in 2008. He couldn't remember the title but took the effort to find it bless him. It was The Door to Time by Pierdomenico Baccalario

Also a heads up if you want to start this Ulysses Moore series. I believe only the first four books were translated to English.
