This is a friendly little invite to our book club Shine and Shadow (y'know to add to our endless reading lists and make new friends). We do 3 monthly reads, a dark/shadow read (psychological thrillers, speculative/dystopian, gothic, horror), light/shine read (not necessarily light hearted, but perhaps comforting, hopeful, compassionate writing) book and a world tour read (based on country, mod-curated).

Knowing how great this group of people are and the kind of wonderful books that are recommended and read, I thought I'd post here and invite those who are interested, we would love to have you!

What are we reading in July 2021?


And we are currently nominating for August 2021

Our themes are: 👻🌈 GHOSTS & GAYS 🌈👻

That's right- these themes have been inspired by the month of August itself. After all, the number 8 is almost too symmetrical if you ask me (it's a little suspicious) & if August doesn't sound like the name of someone dead who wants to nag you, well- you're wrong.
