Fantasy and Sci-Fi Hidden Gems discussion

The SPFBO7 begins! This competition is a great way to find new hidden gems. 300 books are entered in the competition and there are 10 blogs that choose their favourites and then rate those to choose a single winner. But even among the ranks of the books that never make it through the first round there are all kinds of hidden gems.
