One of the climactic moments culminates at the swimming pool where Saffron is being held by Graham and we learn who is behind the student murders and what happened over twenty years ago when Lorraine Price died. Any surprises here?

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments I was surprised. Graham was not on my radar. He seemed concerned. It surprised me when we learned the story of Lorraine Price.

Jo Ann (jojog) | 104 comments At this point I had so many suspects on my radar - well done Angela Marsons!! Excellent scene at the pool.

Lisa - (Aussie Girl) It was a gripping scene. AM had deflected guilt away from Graham by describing him as a more caring and compassionate staff member. That should have been a red flag for sure. Look for red herrings everywhere in these thrillers.

Graham was always on my radar simply because he was the counselor and should have seen signs with these kids. The fact that he seemed clueless made me suspicious. And, when he had that discussion with Thorpe and we learned Graham was a spade and how Thorpe tried to block his hiring, he got on my list. And, he missed his scheduled appointment with Kim & Bryant. He never left my list but the “why” was elusive.

That scene was chilling! There was a lot going on and being revealed. What a great climax.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments Jonetta you could be a detective. I picked up on the tension between Thorpe and Graham, however I thought it was old school issues between them. I thought Graham was going to be one of the good guys. I should have known.

Sadie was cutting herself. This should have been easy for a psychologist to see the signs of stress. He supposedly was clueless. I didn’t buy it.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments You're right. I forgot about the cutting although I do think cutters can hide that from counselors for a long time.

Jonetta (ejaygirl) | 9278 comments Mod
They might hide the cutting but not the stress.

Robin (robinmy) | 2450 comments At this point Graham was my number one suspect. But I never guessed the exact reason he had killed Sadie and Shaun. I thought he was the father of Lorraine Peters baby...or the father of Saffie's baby. I knew he had read Sadie's poem and that is why he had Joanna killed. I never suspected Saffie's parents of knowing anything about Lorraine Peters murder.

Lynn (ftbooklover) You guys are good. I don't think Graham was on my radar until the very end.

There were just things he should have known about those kids that he didn’t. It just hit me wrong.
