Sofia (sofiereads5) | 2 comments Hi! Odd request, but I am in my 20s and love realistic stories. Unfortunately, most of the books with characters my age are not clean. Does anyone have any realistic fiction recommendations? I am thinking along the lines of The Christy & Todd: the college Years and the Married Years series, and the Glenbrooke series (both by Robin Jones Gunn), some of the Baxter Family books by Karen Kingsbury, and the later Katie Parker books by Jenny B. Jones. All of the ones I could come up with are Christian fiction, but I'm open to non-Christian books as well as long as they are clean :) Thanks so much for any recommendations!

This may be a bit of self-promotion, but my debut novel, "Faraway Love" is going to be available in July and is a clean read.
Charlie is everything Amy never knew she wanted, and she can’t imagine life without him. She is forced to make a decision that changes the course of both of their lives. Sometimes, she rationalizes, a decision made – whether right or wrong – is easier to live with than making no decision at all.
Amy and Charlie remain true to each other as Amy’s decision tears them apart and brings them back together time and time again. Charlie loves her and is willing to endure long absences, knowing that theirs is a love worth waiting for.
But even Charlie may realize that sometimes Faraway Love just isn’t enough.

Beth Scott | 11 comments Hi Sofia, I am going to self-promote my own book, "Redirection - A Catalina Bison Ice Hockey Novel". It is a contemporary sports-themed romance featuring characters in their mid-20's. Clean and wholesome content without profanity. The book is available on Kinde Unlimited. Enjoy!
