Hi! I think it's just me and akacya for this team unless someone gets added last minute. akacya, when you see this, do you have any ideas for the team name?

What if we take one word from each of our favorite books/series and combine them together to make a team name?

Due to unforeseen circumstances, Hannah had to leave the group and, consequently, the team.

Because of this, TEAM 5 is now down 1 member.

Please decide as a team the option you would prefer:

OPTION 1: I can join the team.

OPTION 2: Your score will be multiplied by 1.5 to compensate for the "missing" member. This boost will last until a third member joins. Once the booster goes away, you will not receive it another.

OPTION 3: Do nothing.

Please respond by June 4, or OPTION 3 will automatically be chosen for you!

I'd like option 2 please unless akacya wants something different

Option 2 it is!

Here's how it will work:
1. You will read and log books.
2. I will tally your score.
3. I will multiply your score by 1.5. If I do not get an integer (non–decimal), I will be rounding down.
4. If/when you have a 3rd member join your team, you will lose you 1.5 booster.

NOTES:
・ I will NOT multiply your total score.
・ I will only multiply your individual book scores.
・ If you do not earn any points before a 3rd person joins, you will have lost the opportunity to take advantage of the boost.

I really like Harry Potter so maybe we can do The Perks of Being a Phoenix or Order of the Flame? Feel free to suggest any other name ideas that you have :)

Feel free to list yours. We only have two people on our team so I don't know what to do if we have a tie though...

that’s ironic bc my favorite trope is fake dating😭 i don’t know what my least fav would be, i’m not very picky?

least fav genre: i’m not sure bc i read MG, YA, and adult😅 so i guess children’s?!?
fav genre: YA

least fav genre: nonfiction
fav genre: either contemporary or fantasy

so it looks like the ones that match up for us are fav genre YA and fav genre fantasy so I'm not sure what to do about the other ones that we didn't match on 😅

Yeah, that sounds like a plan. I'm currently reading Scythe and I could fit that into a lot of the different tasks

I'm not sure. Some of them I have no clue what book could even fit for the prompts like 9, 10, 13, and 17

i feel like for those prompts the hard ones are actually easier
#9 hard - could be 300, 350, 400, etc pages
#10 hard - probably any book where the character doesn’t explicitly wear glasses/contacts
#13 hard - could be a book with politics like rwrb or the voting booth
#17 hard - https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/1... but also if you want to do this one and read a TSC book most of those have a musically-inclined character

For #13a, any of the subjects of the daily polls. The winner of the daily poll has to be referenced.

For example, the fruits vs. veggies daily poll — whatever won would have to be referenced in the text.

Does that make sense?

Do you want to maybe split up the tasks by having one of us do odds and one of us do evens?

sure! do you have a preference?

Also, I was thinking since our least favorite genres don't match up, what if we flipped a coin to help us make the decision for the hard prompts for least favorite genres?

sure! and we can do that, but i thought we didn’t have to complete both the hard and easy prompts for each task?

The rules say we can do both hard and easy or we can choose one or the other :)

I haven't logged a book in over a week so I wanted to check in and say I'm still here. Currently reading A Court of Thorns and Roses and hopefully I'll finish it in the next day or two :)
