Who all is reading this book?

I’ve never been sure about the series but am now on holiday so thought I’d give it a try :)

Aha that’s good to hear someone else is reluctant but willing to try - can’t wait to hear yours too! I’ve got it out from the library now - it just depends on when I get to it :)

It is one of my favorite book series!! The characters are so well developed and there arcs are amazing. The author really does a great job with keeping You on your toes through all the plot twists and turns. I would recommend this book to anyone. 10 out of 10. I will be joining this months book reading.

Same here!! I just put the audio book on hold but it says it will be a couple weeks till it comes in. I doubt it'll actually take that long as it rarely does but still, I won't get my copy for a little bit. 😕

Absolutely loving it. I wish my kids were reading with me. I plan to continue the series. While it is most definitely for younger people, even I am enjoying it.

I wish I could read it but my parents won’t agree bc they know it has greek mythology and we’re Christians sooo yeah… what do u think, is it okay for a Christian to read it? If it isn’t that much focused on the mythology I could try to talk with my parents…

Bc literally almost all my friends have read it and everyone who has read it loves it

Elisabeth i come from exactly the same perspective as you and was reluctant to read it (I have now finished). I’ll be honest, there is a huge focus on the mythology but it does determine a distinction at the start between Greek gods lower case and THE God upper case. I found that helped in determining whether I should continue, along with stuff I’ve been reading about this very topic biblically (1 Corinthians 10:26).

It’s totally up to you and your parents of course, but in my opinion it’s good but not particularly special. There are more important things! Hope that helps :)

Ah shame Allyson I hate it when that happens! But yes I could take it or leave it - it was interesting enough but felt a bit like scooby doo haha with them running into a monster, defeating it and moving on for lots of it. I can see why so many like it, but it was not mind blowing in my opinion 🤷🏼‍♀️

Haha!! 🤣 Well, I really liked Scooby Doo when I was younger. 🤣 But yeah, I'm not in too much of a hurry to get to the book.
