Hey! Here is the thread where we will discuss Sorcery of Thorns. I have my copy, tell me when y'all are ready.

So, a couple questions. Which day do you want to start, and how many chapters would you like to read per day?

hey yall!! i'm ready whenever you guys are. maybe anywhere from 3-6 chapters a day...? really anything's fine with me, whatever you guys feel comfortable with is great :)

I'm fine with any date but can we do it before 15 June? If it's ok with everyone. I can do the br after 15 as well but I have few tests and all. But I'm fine if you aren't ok with it

Okkk! So I just finished the first three chapters and I'm really liking it! I'm getting Harry Potter vibes. What do y'all think?

i finished the first three chapters too!! only 30 pages in but I ALREADY LOVE ITT!!! i'm totally getting harry potter vibes too - the Director kinda reminds me of Professor McGonagall lol. also, i totally thought Scrivener was a job title, not her last name ahaha

I know right! I am in love with this world. Omg!! I hadn't made that connection with the Director, and I can totally see that!

I couldn’t start yesterday as I had a fever. Yes, It has harry potter vibes and warden finch character sounds like argus filch from hp.

Yeah, I am thanks :) just side effects from vaccination.
Also, my final exams got cancelled and let’s just say I screamed and my mother got scared.

I'm already done with three chapters and I really like it so far. what do you guys think magister and Elizabeth's first meet? He sounds playful and charming to me.

And I totally agree. He definitely seems more cheerful than I thought. When Elisabeth got caught I literally cringed but I'm glad he was understanding.

but i mean based on the synopsis (and the lack of other likable guys in the book), i don't think there's gonna be a love triangle...

Ok so I read til the end of chapter 8. I'm really enjoying it! What do you think about Thorn? I have a sneaking suspicion that something is up with Silas. I feel like he's Thorn's demon.

Yup, I have the same feeling about Silas but I hope he isn't a bad character cuz I am liking him so far

Same! I like Silas too. And that's an interesting thought Rashi and it doe smake sense...
