Connor believes he needs to get close to Lara personally in order to accomplish the goal of finding the information she has on Zack. Agree or should he have been able to do that keeping an emotional distance?

There is always another way to gather the information. Getting close, really close, was probably the quickest way to do it.

It is a good plan before they know each other. Pillow talk is a time proven method of getting information.

Connor's approach made sense to me. He had tried getting close via Niall, but it was taking too long. Once he met her, his decision to take their relationship further was a personal rather than a professional one.

I wondered if he should have adjusted his approach once he realized how attracted he was to her. I’d also forgotten he’d stalled as Niall. But, in person, given her gullibility, Connor could have kept more distance and stayed out of trouble.

I think he felt this was the fastest way to get the info he needed.
