hypergraphiac | 24 comments Just finished They Both Die at the End and I gave it 3 stars.

The story and the pace of the story is fast enough and keeps you entertained and interested. The language use for me at times was cringe inducing, but I do understand that it is meant to allow the reader to submerge into the style of speech and thought of specific characters. There is a lot of moving from perspective to perspective, which I did enjoy as there were a few nice surprises there.

The plot itself seems very modern, contemporary and current, with a futuristic twist, which is unique and an interesting thought experiment. A bit of a "what if..." that allows the reader to hopefully gain a new perspective and think about their life and how they would deal with it in the universe of this story.

***SPOILERS AHEAD***
