WOW!! That was so good. One of the best books I have read for a long time. Grabbed me from the very beginning.

It had it all. Space voyage. A apocalyptic event. Alien contact. Wonderful characters. And he might not have got to go home. But he found a new home, with people who cared for him and kids to teach.

A great read.

I just started this today. I'm really enjoying it so far.

I'm about 30% in right now and really enjoying it too. A bit technical in the beginning (which I enjoy since I am a science nerd). But it didn't take too long for the storyline to hook me in.

I loved it! Especially Rocky. I'm also a science nerd so I'm not sure how much non-science people would enjoy this one. I've never read the Martian, but I didn't care for Artemis, so I'm pleasantly surprised to have enjoyed this one so much.

I must admit the science stuff was a bit above me. But I just let it flow and found that it didn't bother me at all. It didn't seem to be vital to the story.

Yes. Wasn't Rocky sweet. I just loved him. Such a good book.

This was a great story. I would love to see it made into a movie, but have no idea how they would do that. The ending was amazing and unexpected. I wonder if you could continue this story, and if so, how would it advance? I need more Rocky, lol.

I finished this book today. I don't know enough about the science described in the story to know if it was possible or pure fantasy, but it didn't affect my enjoyment. I like the idea of the different governments of our planet working together to prevent an apocalyptic event.
