Play Book Tag discussion

This is the second book in the Shades of Magic series. I liked the first book but this book was so boring for the first 350 or so pages. Nothing happens during those pages except a lot of characters dithering around with no development. When the magical games finally start the book becomes somewhat interesting. I liked the idea of the different Londons but this book barely touches on the other worlds staying almost entirely in Red London. I liked Lia in the last book but this time around found her majorly annoying. The book ends on a cliffhanger but I was so disappointed in this book that I'm not going to finish the trilogy.

This book was slow, but the 3rd book is much better, just incase you change your mind, I was glad I finished the story
