XLVI Elias
- [ ] This chapter made me tear up! I loved how Elias has learnt to accept help but also to allow others make decisions for their actions and not blame himself for it. I am glad Tristas has moved on
- [ ] Hmmm so they are protected from the Nightbringer, that’s good news for them at least. But I am worried what will happen when he does free the jinn from their confinement’s

XLVII Helene
- [ ] How is she going to stop a whole coup? Oh man but she really does need to stop the Commandant before her family and the empire falls into that crazy woman’s hands!

XLVIII Laia
- [ ] Ay I missed Afya, glad she is there to help Laia and make her see sense too.
- [ ] I think I am starting to like Harper. I also liked his parents backstory. It’s nice to know there were other Masks that are like Elias and see the good in people

XLIX Elias
- [ ] 😭😭😭😭 Elias is dead! My heart! Damn, I hope Darin and Tas can get out!
- [ ] Man there are still 2 more books! I am sure Elias is there but how??

L Helene
- [ ] Ahhhh no! Omg no! Helene what has happened! Of course she knew! Of course she managed to convince Marcus that her army is for the Scholar revolution and not to overthrow the Empire!! Ahhh things are not looking good!
- [ ] Gosh I hope her family lives! I can’t imagine what would happen if her family dies, especially Livy

LI Laia The Morning of Rathana
- [ ] Ahhhhh it’s so different to see it in the eyes of another person! So much at stake! How will they get out

LII Elias
- [ ] Oh my goodness! He is the soul catcher now???! So he is dead! Only now half dead, but eventually someone will take his place and he will move on! Ahhh Elias my baby! Why did you have to die! 😭😭😭

LIII Helene
- [ ] Oh my gosh, I am crying! This is horrible! This whole time he knew! But he still had to kill her family! And now he has Livy!
- [ ] It’s weird to say I understand Marcus and why he had to do it. I don’t like it but I get it. And it seems as though Marcus is also a slave to someone too
- [ ] Helene has now been unmade, it makes so much sense now. I do believe in book 3 she will be ruthless now

LIV Laia
- [ ] Oh no! She has been caught by Warden!

LV Elias
- [ ] Wow Tas killed the Warden! Good on him

LVI Helene One Month Later
- [ ] WHAT?! ELIAS AND AVITAS ARE BROTHERS? Wow didn’t see that coming!
- [ ] So Elias’ father was a Mask, the caring Mask. No wonder
- [ ] That means Elias knows who his father was and about Harper too. I’m surprised he hasn’t shared this with Laia
- [ ] Oh man Helene, I feel so bad for her. She is hard as stone now
- [ ] But I am glad Livia is okay and strongheaded as well

LVII Laia
- [ ] He’s okay! He’s alive! They’re well!
- [ ] I love Afya! Can’t tire from saying that. So sassy and confident
- [ ] I wonder, can Elias travel to other places? Or does he still have to be near the Forest of Dusk to be on earth? Like can he go to Blackcliff if he wanted to and still travel back and forth ?
- [ ] I loved this book! Sooo good and entertaining! Can’t wait to start book 3! We are halfway through! I can’t to finish this !

I just remembered, Laia mentioned that there was a girl spirit who is causing trouble and not passing through. I definitely think it’s Hannah. She is probably furious with Elias

oh my goodness, I just thought, how did a man like Elias' and Avitas' father, who we've heard is kind, saw the good in people, be with someone like Keris?!? I don't see the logic in that! Unless they wanted something from each other? Some kind of strategy for information maybe? Man I am soo confused I hope ARATG has answers!!

ahh i know, he really sacrificed himself to be trapped there forever, my poor baby😭😭. he deserved better! and how will he be with Laia if he's half-dead and has to stay near the forest... and i'm determined to make sure he's with Laia! this series breaks my heart💔

ahh Marcus is such a psychopath but yes i understand him as well. still, he's talking to voices in his head... he's incredibly dangerous now, i can just sense it.
and i know, she's definitely going to kick ass in the next book, but i'm worried she'll lose her humanity as well :((

yeah i know, what a shock! but that definitely means that Harper will be an important character, i'm sure we'll get lots more of him. he's switch from the Commandant's lackey to Helene's team seemed very sudden... but he seems to be trustworthy, so hopefully he doesn't betray that trust.
wait, why would Elias know about Harper and his father? i didn't think Elias knew anything at all about his father, though i may have skimmed over something accidentally haha.

I wonder, can Elias travel to other places? Or does he still have to be near the Forest of Dusk to be on earth? Like can he go to Blackcliff if he wanted to and still travel back and forth ?

yesss Afya is the best, love her! and i think Elias can travel elsewhere but not for long, because then the spirits keep pulling him back, like they did when he was getting Darin out. so he can't go very far, because it would take too long to travel anywhere far away :((. poor baby.
and i know, i can't believe we're already halfway through the series! thank you for making me read this series haha.

yeah i was wondering about that! it could definitely be Hannah, though didn't she say she forgave Helene right before her death? i hope she's at peace now. i'm not sure who else it could be, i thought maybe the previous Soulcatcher was causing a little trouble, but that doesn't make much sense since she seems nice... i guess we'll see. you could definitely be right!! i just hope that Helene's family is at peace now :(

HAHAHAH yes true, Keris is definitely such a psychopath compared to Elias and Harper, who's father was supposed to be a damn angel! but Harper has a different mother, yeah? she's not the Commandant's son, right?
