i just finished chap 1 and uk what. i kinda wanted it to be from America's POV but i feel like it's better this way. Also it's so weird. they spend all their time to bring justice and now that it's kinda there
their own daughter feels like...like it's not justice.

no, i certainly don't like America being like that with her daughter... i mean she's telling her that she's putting her comfort bfr everyone else
i get that that's true but...but she's not as mature as America was during her selection. Also i do agree with u that she's a bit spoilt.

also America seems like a real queen now. like woahh... exactlyy like America thought about queen amberly kinda.

Yeahh! And i love reading abt the old characters from Eadlyn's POV. Like the history we know, Nd we're seeing how it turned out... It's jst so sweet. Maxon and America ❤️. Lucy nd Aspen too! And Marlee and Carter, it's amazing. Also Aspen is so much lovable in this!!!

I think that the books are like... It's the next generation. It's their kids.. we r getting to know how they (our characters and the bond they share with each other) turned out to be over the years and that too through their daughter. How beautiful that is

Exactly! And the way it is shown.. like how Maxon seemed to follow America everywhere, or their looks of adoration... It's jst beautiful

(spoiler alert- chapter 18) I CAN'T BELIEVE SHE SAID THAT TO NEENA. that her boyfriend can cure someone and she's here doing her laundry. oh my god! how rude and how weird that was .. neena's reaction was totally understandable and exactlyy how it should be.

yess I know..kile is so ❤️ i mean he's just sooo nice. and they r good together. i mean i would want them to...well yeah kinda.. but then I also kinda like Hale. like the way he is. and i get her. like why she's so secretive and why her being even a lil bit vunerable makes her go like... no that's not me. yes i agree that the problem is with her not being a lil vunerable or even available but then i kinda get that.

wow. i really really like how it's so difficult for her to be vunerable and even tho that is smthin about her. she IS being a bit vunerable. cause she IS feeling stuff about some of the selected. and even tho she dosen't like it when she looks it at tht way
but it's just so much more. she likes kile ended up in the selection. and she HOPES he feels the same way. i feel like the selection is bringing a sense of vunerablity in her. that's just so. ❤️

I know, right!? And well, the sweet little moments where she feels things and doesn't admit tht she is... Well it's a really heartwarming book

And one more thing
As much as i like her attitude being direct with the boys warning them after what jack did. And her nature. Like she's so .... She IS POWERFUL. But it's a lil too much when she says she's the MOST powerful person. I mean i like it the way she thinks that and get in control again but it's a bit.. like thinkinn that u r the best is not the solution. Accepting your flaws.. trying to work on them and loving them is the solution

Exactlyy and i also think that it's been like that always. I mean i remember how reserved Maxon was at first. U really had to unleash him ukwim and i guess that's the same with her. She's a bit harsh tho as well. But i like her. I relate to her as well. I mean she's already so vunerable to her family... She just dosen't wanna add more people to it.

America was a girl that kept thinkinn too much. Here eadlyn is a girl who knows that she just wants her freedom and she's so sure abt it all. But she atleast accept it to herself when smthin happens ...like with her feelings and stuff and she's direct when she got to be also rude but that's kinda fine i think so idk why i feel like this. I feel like this is very stereotypical, but i GET Eadlyn, but i don't love her. He appreciate a lot of things abt her, but there are a lot of things that I don't. Idk. Or i guess I like her, but she's hardly my favourite character. Tho, I'm liking her more this tym than i did the last tym i read it, so maybe I'm prejudiced, let's see how it goes on

Tht's really good. Like yeah, i can see why u feel like tht. I really like tht part of her too. Also how she makes herself clear nd doesn't lead anyone astray. Like she's meant to be playing with these boys bcz she doesn't want the selection, but she isn't playing with anyone's feelings. She's making her reservations clear. I like that

I don't mean to say that America did that but she kept aspen as her second option for a long time. that ain't eadlyn. and I also don't like stuff about her. like she being that rude to everyone...not even trying to understand her parent's POV. and everything. but still i guess yeah... and I get why u like America more. America wasn't rude to anyone and she tried to understand atleast. and there was a thing i absolutely hate about eadlyn. when Hale told her so much about himself and his family. the least you expect from anyone is to show that they care. and she just... umm that was not how u behave. Also i get why she was like the way she was but it's still not right
