What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

YA Fantasy read between 2015-2020 (the book seemed like it was written no earlier than 2000).

The main character is a girl, in her late teens/early twenties. She is the captain of a ship (sea, not space) that her and her crew use to get (steal or trade?) goods (I remember jewels and luxury fabric). Sometimes they free enslaved children on their voyages. The captain has some sort of powers/abilities, and I think at one point she uses it to bring a building down. The crew on her ship are also kids and some of them have powers too - at least one of which has power over air and can make the ship fly. I think the main character has a scar on her face that is mentioned a few times.

The captain has to give her crew's finds to some lady who gives her a cut of the profits - I think this lady holds some sort of control over the main character to keep her in line (something to do with a brother?).

There is a tiny village on a cliff that only she and her crew can access because of their abilities to fly the ship - this is where they have taken some of the kids/people they've saved.

At some point, I think one of her most trusted crewmates betrays her, believing that he's doing it in her best interest.

I think the village on the cliff is a pretty important part of the book, because they see it as their haven - where the children/people they've saved live. At some point, I think bad guys find and attack it.

Unfortunately, I don't remember. I think it might have been a physical book, though, because I've checked my history on my e-book apps and the book isn't listed there.

Do you think the girl was under 18?

If she was older, this might be NA or adult fiction, not YA.

I don't know for sure, but I think she was probably right around 18, not sure if she was under or over. Should I remove "YA" from the subject, in case I'm wrong about that?
