Jessica Kuzmier Hi everyone, for the first time I'm going to be writing a book review for an ARC copy of a novel. I've seen many people introduce a review such as this with 'I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review'. In your experience, is this the standard way to introduce this kind of review, or would it be appropriate to just write a review the way I would any other book review?

Thanks in advance for any feedback. Jessica Kuzmier

Michael Scharen | 147 comments Full disclosure is best.
I simply write at the end.

This reviewer received a complimentary copy of this book.

This actually is required in TOS that Goodreads.com authors who review each other's work must make this disclosure.
