This is not a domnant time travel series but it is worth including here because time travel is definitely a thing here, but subtle and comes later in the series.

This is beautifully atmospheric, tranquil, ultra quiet...and bizarrely meandering series that is quite hypnotic and even somewhat haunting thanks to a wonderful soundtrack.

But I warn you, this series is deliberately slow to a fault, depending on how well you can adapt to this pace given our modern day fast pace consumption of television. Its perfectly understandable to lose patience with this series and not like it.

Another warning is that many sci fi elements are not explained but pieces of puzzles do come together where it matters...but then again, it's up to you whether that matters to you or not. The main focus of these series is how people deal with the various high concept sci fi situations.

A couple of the episodes later in the series touch on time travel but I wont say which ones.

The whole concept of the series that "anything is possible" is mouth watering for sure but as I watch it, I can't help the niggling feeling that the slowness of it getting anywhere (and often nowhere!) is a bit too forced yet every single episode lingered with me long after and I was thoroughly engaged. I felt for these characters but bloody hell, they sure have a problem talking to each other...everyone is so damn quiet! Expressions of contemplations and reflections completely dominate the 80% of scenes! Well it felt that way.

But somehow, I love it, it was very soulful. It's mood is lingering with me and despite everything, I crave for more.

Personally I rate this 8/10 purely as a tranquil experience of bizarre sci fi and um...humans staring longingly. But I can imagine it won't be for everyone.

I do however urge you all to watch the brilliant Undone (also on Amazon Prime) first that I posted about in another thread, it's a must watch then come to this for a stark contrast in pacing!

There will apparently be a season 2

8/10
