Audrey's family has fallen apart. Her two grown-up daughters, Jess and Lily, are estranged, and her two teenage granddaughters have never been allowed to meet. A secret that echoes back thirty years has splintered the family in two, but is also the one thing keeping them connected.

Part 3-4: (view spoiler)[I felt so bad for her finding her dad like that. Yikes. That almost made me cry. Also the sisters not really talking to one another, or being mean, kind of hits close to home. Not necessarily between my sister and I.. but I never saw my aunts or cousins until after my grandmother's death. Even then - I don't really see them that often. (hide spoiler)]

Part 5-6: (view spoiler)[Trying to finish this with a migraine wasn't the best idea lol but I'm committed. All I'm going to say is that I'm just full of emotions with this book. Honestly not sure how the heck this is going to end.

I do feel so bad for Jess though. I think it was her husband who basically cheated on her and moved for someone half her age and then got her pregnant. Such an ass. (hide spoiler)]
