Caitlyn’s psychiatrist, Rebecca Wade, supposedly left town rather suddenly. When did you begin to suspect she didn’t leave voluntarily? Did you think her disappearance was connected to Caitlyn?

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 1808 comments I suspected she might have been a victim from the start. It was too much of a coincidence that Rebecca disappeared and Josh was killed in such close proximity.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments I expected her body to show up a lot sooner than it did. I worried that Caitlyn killed her too.

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2973 comments I was sure she was a victim. It was really strange she just closed up her office and disappears. After contacting Adam I knew she was going to write a book about Caitlyn's MPD, then she disappears.

Lisa - (Aussie Girl) Yep, all the signs were that Rebecca was dead and tied to the current mystery. Adam was a bit of a shady character early on, it did cross my mind that he might have had something to do with it before we got more facts revealed.

It crossed my mind for a minute too. Then I thought that he wouldn't be looking for her if he had had something to do with her disappearance.

I thought something was afoul early on, too. From what we learned, she was a caring psychologist. When she failed to return Caitlyn’s calls and never assigned her or referred her to another psychologist, I figured she was dead.

It took me a while to figure out her disappearance might be related to Caitlyn. When Adam couldn’t find Caitlyn’s file on the computer, I then assumed they were linked.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments The missing files were a clue. When Adam found the files later I wondered if she removed them for another reason.

That sealed it for me.

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2973 comments Or, maybe Amanda broke into her office and wiped the incriminating filed from Rebecca's computer. Oh, the conspiracies we can come up with in this book!

Lynn (ftbooklover) It began for me when Adam couldn't get in touch with her. Either she was involved or she was dead.

I'm with you, Lauren. I thought she was death from the start, especially when Adam couldn't get in touch with her. It wasn't too far into the book that I realized those were connected. Initially I thought that Kelly killed her, especially after we found out that she was going to write a book about Caitlyn. But I really didn't want Kelly to be the killer (both before and after I figured out about the MPD), so I kept looking for other options.

I really wanted Kelly to be the killer. It would have made the book so much more interesting and it would have put a kibosh on the romance too, which I hated.
