It crossed my mind for a minute too. Then I thought that he wouldn't be looking for her if he had had something to do with her disappearance.
I thought something was afoul early on, too. From what we learned, she was a caring psychologist. When she failed to return Caitlyn’s calls and never assigned her or referred her to another psychologist, I figured she was dead.
It took me a while to figure out her disappearance might be related to Caitlyn. When Adam couldn’t find Caitlyn’s file on the computer, I then assumed they were linked.

I'm with you, Lauren. I thought she was death from the start, especially when Adam couldn't get in touch with her. It wasn't too far into the book that I realized those were connected. Initially I thought that Kelly killed her, especially after we found out that she was going to write a book about Caitlyn. But I really didn't want Kelly to be the killer (both before and after I figured out about the MPD), so I kept looking for other options.

I really wanted Kelly to be the killer. It would have made the book so much more interesting and it would have put a kibosh on the romance too, which I hated.
