What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

Okay, so I read a book series about 3 years ago and I CAN'T REMEMBER THE TITLE! Or the author. Ugh. The cover of the book is like a dark black-green backdrop, with a green leaf in the center I'm pretty sure. It was about an 18-ish year old girl named Ryan who lived in a more rural area. She lived with her mom and grandma who lives on a large plot of forest. She meets this blond haired, green-eyed guy in the forest by a natural pool of water, and his name is Lad. It turns out that he is an elf, and we later find out that Ryan's grandmother is actually a light elf, whereas her FATHER turns out to be this super powerful dark elf. The light elves actually live underground on Ryan's grandmother's land, and when Lad takes her to see it, she also turns that this really hot dude named Nox who she thought was human, is actually a dark elf who was raised up with Lad. Lad is the Crown Prince of his kingdom. Another main plot of the book is that an elf can only have sex with one person, and are then bonded to that person. If that person dies, then the elf's hair will turn white (which actually happened to Ryan's grandma). The elves can "glamor" people into doing their biding (which is what Ryan's father later trys to do over the tv to control the world), and they can communicate mind to mind. Lad or Ryan ends up describing it as sending out a text through your thoughts. Another thing I can think of is that Ryan got lost in the forest as a little girl at night and Lad found her and took her to his home to try and help her, which is why he knows her when they meet again. Lad's parents end up wiping the memory of the underground kingdom from her mind the next morning and send her home to her worried parents.
Okay. That's all the important plots I can think of. I REALLY hope it's enough to help find the title and author, as I am desperate to reread the series. Thanks so much for any help! :)

Could it be Hidden Deep by Amy Patrick? It's a series (Hidden Saga) but sounds like the plot described.
