Ok so my parents really love Coke, but they didn't want me to have when I was a kid. So they somehow convinced me that Coke was cooking spray. I am embarassed to say for the first 9 years of my life I believed this, until I caught them drinking it XD.

My little self thought that the boy lions were girls because girls have long hair. My mom argued with me on that until I was like three. (I argued and talked at a very young age.)

I used to believe that 17 is my unlucky number and I used to dread the 17th of every month. I no longer believe in lucky and unlucky numbers.

I think this is a horrible joke but my parents used to scare me when I was a child by becoming ghosts, only to get me to eat something..😶

Same, when I was little I would refuse to eat anything and my parents would tell me a monster would steal me away if I didn't eat my dinner loll.

That if I pulled a funny face the wind would change and it would stay like that

Just that any fallen eyelash on the face, is to be put on the right hand , you make a wish with eyes closed and it comes true.

That if I ever ate a grape seed, a tree would grow in my belly and sprout out of my stomach and back. Anchoring me into the world. My parents love me, if you couldn't tell.

Also, same thing happened with chewing gum! If I ever swallowed it, the stickiness would destroy my bodily functions and I would die.

I believed that for so many years, omg.

I don't know if this counts, but my ten year old cousin didn't know bacon came from pigs until we told him a few months ago. He, being a city kid, said he thought it just came from the store.

I used to think that the dandelion puffs were mini fairies for some reason. Probably because I was obsessed with Tinker Bell at the time.

And that twins had to have the same name.

I used to believe twins were born at the exact same time like they literally came out at the exact same time weird I know. I also used to believe my life and everyone else's was a movie maybe aliens or something else were watching us on a movie screen.

I used to believe only I would became old. I had a cousin 1 year older than me and I used to believe some day I would be older than him.

I also believed when I died I would become a ghost and haunt a library, then I would read books behind people's shoulders.

When I was what I think was around 5-7 years old, I thought that quarters with bald eagles on them were the state quarter for Ohio.
