Play Book Tag discussion

Beatriz Williams is an author that I associate with fun, easy reading, so perfect for a beach read or to relax with after a long day at work. I liked how this book transported me to 1920s New York and the glitz and glamour of that time. This was a very entertaining book, though I didn’t connect with the characters as much as I have in some of her previous books. Part of this was to do with Theresa constantly describing her lover as ‘The Boy’, which is a personal bugbear of mine (not calling characters by their names, but giving them a label instead). I really liked the murder mystery aspect to this book, but wish it had been a bigger focus, and I enjoyed the ending to this story.
