If any of you USA book travellers are looking for a book set in Utah, perhaps you would consider giving the historical novel, 'In A Town Called Paradox' a try.

It's set in 1950s Utah at a time when the Big Five Hollywood Studios arrived to film their blockbuster movies.

LoveReadingUK, Britain's biggest book recommendation website, has named it 'An Indie Book We Love' and listed it as a Featured Books for June.

The book has an overall rating of 4.4 on amazon.com and 4.07 here on Goodreads. It's also listed on amazon.co.uk.

I worked at the University of Utah in the 1970's and was continuously amazed by the Mormon history, culture, and determination of its followers. There is a great deal of "paradox" in Utah, so this historical novel is intriguing to me. Will take a look! Thanks to Miriam. By the way, Miriam Utah is a suburb of Salt Lake City.
