noo nothing is going right for these babies!
- the Commandant tied up Helene so easily in her trap that it was honestly embarrassing, and i just have to say that i guessed what the Commandant was going to do from a mile away. i knew that she'd use the Nightbringer to destroy the ships... oh Helene. how far you've fallen.
- and there was literally nothing more embarrassing/depressing than when she was trying to block the nightbringer from her mind, and he went 'congratulations are in order, i see you're going to be an auntie'. i almost sunk to the ground in depression... poor Helene and Livy. things aren't looking good for them! but also, random side note, that was such a cool line from the nightbringer haha. hate him, but it was pretty damn cool haha.
- meanwhile, elias can't work out what's happening with these freaking ghosts, and now they're escaping and attacking? not great.
- and laia is turning into a darker version of herself on her mission to stop the nightbringer... about to give powerful blades to people killing innocents. it'll definitely be interesting to see what happens with her.
- though i do have to say, i love Musa! he seems super clever and a little bit evil, and i don't fully trust him, but i like him ;)

XI Laia Four Weeks Later
- [ ] Wow time is moving quickly now, I hope Elias is doing okay
- [ ] So from my understanding the Beekeeper is suppose to be the one who will help them know how to defeat the Nightbringer?

XII Elias
- [ ] Oh my god that is terrifying ! The ghosts are trying to get out !
- [ ] But at least now Elias knows he has help from the Farir and he isn’t alone as we all thought

XIII The Blood Shrike
- [ ] Damn! Of course he knew!
- [ ] How is she going to protect Livy now ?
- [ ] The Commandant always seems to be two steps ahead of Helen and I hate it!

XIV Laia
- [ ] Well looks like who they were looking for was behind them the whole time! Why didn’t he appear sooner!
- [ ] It’s really creepy that ghouls surrounds the princess without her knowing

XV Elias
- [ ] Oh god I hope Elias isn’t risking so much for asking help from the Jinn

XVI The Blood Shrike
- [ ] Oh my gosh! How did the fleet disappear like that! That’s crazy work, did the Nightbringer really do that?
- [ ] Helene played the role Keri’s had written, wow
- [ ] She is gaining more and more supporters, this is not looking good for Helene

XVII Laia
- [ ] Hmm does Laia have more power in her? I swear this is the second time I’ve seen her see visions. Or are they like Helene’s one where if she sees the Nightbringer’s eyes he shows them their future?
- [ ] But I have a strong feeling that this woman that’s singing is Laia’s visions, don’t know how though

XVIII Elias
- [ ] Oh no! The ghosts can hurt people! The jinn can’t or won’t help Elias and now he is bigger problems
- [ ] Interesting to note about the Commandant, she went to see him twice

XIX The Blood Shrike
- [ ] Ah I missed Quinn, good thing he is there to support Helene and remind her on how to get information
- [ ] I feel so bad for Elias’s father, to be beaten to death would have been horrible. I wonder if she did love him? It seemed so when she caressed Elias face as he looked like him

XX Laia
- [ ] Oh no! Laia is getting way ahead of herself. I just hope she knows what she is doing and won’t get herself hurt or captured
- [ ] She really does need to stop comparing herself to her mother, yes her mother was great and brave, but the more she compares the more she will see she isn’t her. She needs to see that she has great bravery and strength, and it might not be like her mothers but better!
- [ ] I am still sceptical about Musa, I don’t know what to think of him yet, but I hope he does help them out

Yeah she really has lost a bit of her touch, it was truly sad to see everyone going against her because she didn’t think things through quick enough. I don’t blame her, she just got word from her sister, than the Nightbringer threw this knowledge in her face. I just hope Helene picks herself up and thinks clearly with Quinn’s help

I know! My heart broke when he said that! I really hope Livy and the baby survives!
But yes it was quite a line, I despised him when he said it haha

I agree, she isn’t herself. She is pretty desperate and it’s making her irrational. I just hope her decisions don’t cause her or the Scholars more pain and suffering!

Hahah I wouldn’t say I like him just yet, but it is interesting to learn more and more about him. We will see where he goes

I’ll start reading the next set but I probably won’t finish it until sometime tomorrow

yeah i'm thinking she has more powers, and if she stays visible for a while then she sees a vision! i have no idea what she's seeing though...

i haven't started the next set yet, sorry! and yep, we're back at school, but that does mean that i have less time to read haha, which is why i haven't read the next set yet. it's been pretty busy! hopefully the cases start going down for you and you can come out of lockdown sometime soon.
