Ahh ok, this set was a little less traumatic, which was good!!

Lysander:
- Lysander didn't die, which wasn't unexpected haha, but was a little disappointing because I'm really not sure I like lysander or the possibilities with him. He could really uproot Darrow and the entire new society, which wouldn't be good!
- Dido seems like an interesting character, I'm not sure what to think of her yet but she's definitely pretty scary haha.

Darrow:
- Darrow broke out one of the world's most dangerous prisoners... I'm not sure what to think or how to take it. Apollionus is definitely a bit of a psychopath, and I'm not sure why they need him yet, but I guess we'll see! My poor Darrow is going down a bit of a dark path.

Eph & Lyria:
- woo crossover between protagonists ! Lyria and Ephraim (or whatever he called himself) actually got along really well, which was nice to see. I hope we get more of them!
- Hopefully Eph didn't just use lyria for the mission... though you never do know with him. I wonder how they'll tie in with Darrow!

Random:
- ayyy my girl Orion got a statue with a parrot, I love it! She deserves it. I hope she actually got that parrot in real life.
- aww Darrow and Keiran have a cute relationship, learning a little about their past was really nice!
- I have a feeling that Darrow's niece (name blank) will be back to demand to be taken seriously... hell, maybe she didn't even leave! She's tenacious haha, I like it.

less traumatic but definitely setting for the more dramatic parts 😏. okay i'm just gonna keep it random because my mind is a mess right now.

lysander:

- i just love how rebellious sevro is and just wants to get something done the easiest way. This reminded me of me playing GTA🤣 if you know what i mean.

- okay to be completely honest , i didn't have clue how old ephraim is and when he and lyria path crossed i was like hey , are they actually going to be a thing? i mean it's basically my concern that some characters might end up together , so when i checked in some places, he is actully older , like 20 years maybe older?
anyway that was a cute banter , he saved her kind of and all. wonder why he named himself Phillipe🤭

oh no, i just meant that Romulus was about to kill lysander and cassius, until they got distracted by the family drama, as you say haha. i assumed that lysander wasn't going to die this early in the second trilogy and something would happen... and i was right, which was a little disappointing haha.

hahaha yeah i was getting vibes that he was older... it feels more like a father/daughter relationship, like dalinar and shallan hehe. but yep, i doubt they'll be a thing (i hope not!).
and yeah cute scene, no idea where the name Phillipe came from lmao.

- [ ] Oh man they have been prisoners for a whole month! Luckily they haven’t found out who they really are

Ch 23 Lyria - Foxwalker
- [ ] Sophocles is 700 years old!! Man! Poor thing! All the horrors he has seen in that family
- [ ] But yeah I am wondering why he has gone a little bit weird.


Ch 24 Ephraim - Kobachi’s Tech Emporium
- [ ] Damn still no info about this heist, Pierce really likes to drag out the suspense as much as he can!
- [ ] Like we are getting all this info about Darrow and we still haven’t gotten to his chapter yet, such a tease

Ch 25 Lysander - Lord of the Dust
- [ ] Okay I don’t know if I am confusing myself but is Romulus the guy that Darrow had a stand off and said if either one of them were in the same room together one of them would die? Back in a garden? Is this the guy? Because I believe they help take down the Sovereign but then if Roque was with them then it means Roque was the one they sent to destroy the reaper but it all failed

Ch 26 Lysander - Wrath of The Mother
- [ ] Wow! So much family drama here! Loving it actually !
- [ ] So glad they are not going to be beheaded any time soon

Ch 27 Darrow - Deepgrave
- [ ] Great now they’re trying to free a psychopath, this prisoner better be valuable
- [ ] But poor Servo, I knew he would feel guilty for Wulfgar’s death since it was his idea to go back but man must have been rough for them

Ch 28 Darrow - Prisoner 1126
- [ ] Oh my gosh this guy is as bad as the Jackal! Why do they think he will help with their course to kill the Ash Lord! What does he have to offer!

Ch 29 Lyria - Rust and Shadow
- [ ] It was so nice that she was able to talk to someone and talk with them freely
- [ ] I do wonder, will she meet Darrow ? And if she did, what would she do? Perhaps slap him or even scream at him. Remind him of the people left behind on Mars

Ch 30 Darrow - The Nessus
- [ ] Ahhh my baby Darrow! I wish I could hug all your pains away!!!
- [ ] I really hope he can see his family again

I agree, he is a questionable character, he does owe Darrow his life though, Servo wanted him dead but Darrow spared him so he does owe him. And he has stuck with Cassius for the last 10 years and he also helped Darrow destroy his own life and family. So I am leaning towards that Lysander may be an ally to Darrow, but it could also be my wishful thinking since Darrow really, desperately needs allies now! Man I hope Cassius and Lysander don't do anything stupid to Darrow!!!

Agreed, it was nice to see cute background story with them, I hope we can see more, since in these books we need these tender moments!

HAHA I have this problem all the time! It goes as bad as I am writing a review for a book I literally just put down and I forget all the MCs names!
But yes, I just checked again because, what do you know I forgot too and her name is Rhonna
Knowing the family she comes from, she probably snuck in the ship anyways, I doubt she would have stayed put

Agreed! They are quite sus indeed, especially the mum and dad. He is hiding something big, especially with that little look of relief when he found out Seraphina did not find anything about Roque's defeat

I do think they would just stay as friends but now that I know it was Ephraim all along, I do have a strong feeling he is just using her for the heist :(

i actually have no idea, sis... it could be, but i've completely forgotten haha. i can't remember names... but if i'm remembering right, then the Romulus i'm thinking of is the leader who helped Darrow fight the sovereign, in exchange for the names of all of the Rising members on his planet. and then Darrow blew up his harbour, and pretended it was Roque. that's who i'm thinking of, at least!

mmm honestly don't know... he was kinda just there to introduce seraphina and dido, for lysander's storyline, i guess. who knows, he might play a bigger part later on!
